Batch Mix

The purpose of this shoot was to take a range of high quality photography for use on their new website and capture enough video content to create three videos.

One overview video followed by two separate videos about a different arm of the business.

What Did We Do?

Batch Mix

The scale of the BatchMix site was vast. This shoot consisted of two photographers, one focusing on photography and the other videography The shoot was relatively fast paced but since the jobs were well planned it meant that the main challenge of the shoot was doing the site justice and capturing the scale. This made things more flexible logistically, as one could be based over in the quarry for example, whilst the other was documenting the aggregate bays.

Utilising our drone, we were able to capture aerial shots that really help tie everything together in the edit. The shoot was also accompanied with two site visits, the first was a house development, delivering ready-mix concrete. The second was a bungalow where the truck was delivering floor screed. The weather on the day was nice and clear and this gave us a great contrast to the subject and skylines in the still photography. It was also perfect flying conditions for the drone.
