NR&BA, the Nottingham Restaurant & Bar Awards, are back with a bang, and here at Adtrak we’re proud to announce that we’re the title sponsor for the 2017-18 relaunch. Our team have been hard at work these last few months, so here’s a quick look at what we’ve been cooking up behind the scenes in support of the event.
Designing the perfect starter
Looking sharp and visually impressive, the design of the NR&BA has been a big undertaking across several departments at Adtrak. Alan Peace, one of our talented Senior Graphic Designers, headed up the creation of the new logo. He was also responsible for a variety of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, window stickers and the voting cards themselves – hopefully you’ve already seen the fruits of this labour out and about in Nottingham.
The brand new NR&BA website, launched in May, was created by our Development team. It combines stunning design with fantastic functionality and is the perfect place to find out more about the awards and its various categories. It also includes a directory, allowing users to search for Nottingham restaurant and bars through its intuitive and sleek design.
In addition, once the awards have been officially launched, the website will also include the all important voting system! Designed by our expert Web Developers, the voting system is testament to the complex projects we are capable of undertaking.
Marketing a satisfying main
In an effort to show Nottingham’s food and drink scene in the glowing light it deserves, our talented Photography and Video team have developed the ‘My Neighbourhood’ feature on the website. Created as part of a content marketing package, each video takes you on a tour throughout a local neighbourhood, such as Hockley or Beeston, highlighting the amazing venues on offer there.
Local celebrities have even contributed to the NR&BA blog page, sharing their favourite places to eat and drink – including BBC East Midlands Today presenter Anne Davis and Sam Pinkham from Gem 106.
A scoop of social media for dessert
If you’re a keen food and drink connoisseur in Nottingham then you’ll no doubt have seen our efforts on social media. We have helped launch and manage the Facebook and Twitter campaigns, reaching and engaging with people across the city and, hopefully, getting them as excited about the awards as we are! As it stands right now, the NR&BA Facebook page has a total reach of over 400,000 people.
In addition, to help local restaurants and other sponsors make more of their own social media, we held social media workshops at the end of August. Last Chance Saloon, Annie’s Burger Shack, Alchemilla and The Lace Market Hotel were amongst those in attendance, all gaining some top social marketing tips from our experts at our offices on Maid Marian Way.
Don’t forget that voting opens on September 7th! You can then vote for your favourite restaurants and bars on any mobile, tablet or desktop device via the NR&BA website until October 6th. You can also keep up to date with all the events and news via the NRBA blog page.
