Last week, the Adtrak team headed to Birmingham to attend RWM, the UK’s leading waste management event.
Held at the NEC between the 12th and 14th September, the exhibition is the most renowned in the waste management calendar and is a must for waste and recycling companies, as well as those within the renewable energy sector.
We’re a digital marketing company that are proud to specialise within the waste management industry. In fact, we currently help over 40 waste management companies improve their online visibility. As such, RWM is a fantastic opportunity for us to catch up with clients and meet lots of new faces!
Waste Marketing, Not Wasted Marketing
This was our second year exhibiting at RWM. Based in the Data, Tech & Services zone in Hall 5, we came equipped with a range of marketing materials, including our fantastic stand design, brochures and business cards. All of this was designed in-house by our incredibly talented Senior Graphic Designer Alun Davies.
Pitch & Pint
Not happy with just the one stand, however, this year we were also the exclusive sponsor of the Pitch & Pint area! This was a brand new feature for RWM 2017 and included a crazy golf area and a bar.
The four hole crazy golf was made entirely of recycled materials and was a very popular part of the event! We even made time for a few rounds of golf ourselves!

CIWM Gala Dinner
As always, RWM wasn’t all business. We were also delighted to be invited to the CIWM Gala Dinner. We were treated to drinks, a three course dinner, wine and an appearance from The Chase’s very funny Paul Sinha! It was a lovely evening and another great chance to catch up with old and new friends from within the waste management industry.
We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic three days – thanks very much to RWM and CIWM for having us!
