Initially, as a Google Partner, we were recognised for maximising campaign success for our clients, driving client growth by maintaining clients’ campaigns and demonstrating Google Ads skills and expertise with certifications.
Becoming a Google Partner
There are three requirement categories to becoming a Google Partner:
- Performance
This ensures that Google Ads campaigns can be effectively set up and optimally run to achieve the greatest results.
- Spend
The Ads manager account needs to maintain a 90-day ad spend of $10,000 USD across managed accounts.
- Certification
A minimum of 50% of account strategists need to be certified in Google Ads, with at least one certification in each product area.
Through the hard work and dedication of our marketing experts, we are delighted to have progressed from a Google Partner to a Premier Partner.
Becoming a Premier Partner
Once the Partner requirements are met, confirmation that you are in the top 3% of participating companies is required. To do so, we had to demonstrate:
- Existing client growth
Our ability to grow our existing clients. This is measured by year on year ads spend growth and ads spend among existing Google Ads clients.
- New client growth
Our ability to acquire new clients. Similarly, this is measured by year on year ads spend growth and ads spend among existing first-time Google Ads clients.
- Client retention:
We had to demonstrate our ability to sustain our clients’ business. This is measured by the percentage of clients with active Google Ads spend who are managed by us and are retained year on year.
- Product diversification:
To demonstrate this, we had to show that we invest in product mix beyond Search. For example, spend on YouTube, Display & Video 360, Display, Apps and Shopping each calendar year.
- Annual ads spend
The investment in Google Ads or Google Marketing Platform, measured by spend across our managed client accounts each calendar year

The Partner requirements are evaluated on an ongoing basis, so we look forward to working with Google and continuing to help our clients reach new levels of success.
