Nothing quite prepares you for picking up the phone to one of the country’s most recognisable charities, who then ask you to create a website, logo and branding for them. But that’s exactly what happened to us when a phone call from the agent of a certain Bob Geldof informed us of their intention to revive Band Aid – 30 years after the original group got together to raise money and awareness for the extreme poverty crisis in Ethiopia.
The proceeds from this year’s version of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ will be used to combat the spread of Ebola worldwide – something that’s become particularly pertinent in recent months with the number of cases steadily growing.
We were genuinely privileged to work with a well known charity and to contribute to such a worthy cause, so it was no surprise that we jumped at the opportunity to be involved.
